Description of Event: Students will be bused to Six Flags Great America. The park is closed to the general public and only host other chaperoned high school students. Students will have access to roller coasters, an all-you-can-eat buffet, and more!

1 / Is a Post-Prom ticket the same price as a Prom ticket?
No. A Prom ticket is $60. A POST-Prom costs an additional $70. You must attend Prom to go to POST-Prom.
2 / Is my guest allowed to go to Post-Prom with me?
Yes. You may purchase a POST-Prom ticket for your guest but they must also be attending Prom.
3 / Will there be food at Post-Prom?
Yes, there will be an all-you-can-eat buffet provided during POST-Prom.

4 / How do I buy tickets?
POST-Prom ticket purchases will be done through MySchoolBucks on Monday, April 21 to Friday, April 25 at 4:00 P.M. No tickets will be sold past the deadline. It is recommended to complete your purchase through the MySchoolBucks App. You MUST purchase a Prom ticket in order to attend Post-Prom.
5 / I am experiencing financial hardship. Is there any financial assitance for a POST-Prom ticket.
Anyone in need of financial assistance for POST-Prom must contact Ms. Veenendaal (nursekathy2003@hotmail.com) of the PHS Pirate Boosters by April 23rd. Financial assistance is limited and not guaranteed.
6 / I have a season pass for Six Flags. Do I still need to buy a Post-Prom ticket?
Yes you still need to purchase a Post-Prom ticket. A season pass to Six Flags cannot be applied to the Post-Prom event.
7 / What should I wear to Post-Prom?
POST-Prom is a rain or shine event. Please pack clothes that are suitable for the weather. This includes close-toed gym shoes, socks, jeans or sweatpants, a t-shirt, and a hoodie or jacket for colder weather.
8 / Where will I keep my bag of clothes before and after Post-Prom?
Your bag will be checked in when you check in at Prom. You will not have access to your bag at Prom so please make sure you remove any items you would like to have for the dance. You will take your bag with you to Prom and will not be permitted to go to your car before the POST-Prom buses leave. All bags are will be searched as they are checked in.
9 / How will we change into our clothes for POST-Prom?
The Prom venue will be sectioned off to create 2 separate changing rooms. You will be called by bus to retrieve your bag and change in the designated changing room before boarding your POST-Prom bus.
You must bring your bag onto the bus and may not go to your car in between Prom & Post-Prom.
10 / What if I did not buy a ticket but still want to go to Post-Prom?
No tickets will be available past the April 25th ticket sale deadline.
11 / Can I get a refund on my Post-Prom ticket if I decide not to go?
No refunds will be offered under any circumstances.
12 / Will I be able to sit with my friends on the bus to Post-Prom?
Buses going to Post-Prom can seat 45 passengers. You can sign up yourself and your guest for a bus via a SignUpGenius link that will be sent to all POST-Prom attendees by the Boosters. You may make changes to your bus assignment before the SignUpGenius window closes. Once the bus assignment has been finalized, no changes will be made. You must ride on the same bus to and from POST-Prom.
We will not move students without their consent. The sign up is first come, first serve.
13 / Can I or someone else drive me to Post-Prom? Can someone pick me up from Post-Prom if I want to leave early?
All Post-Prom attendees must ride the bus to and from POST-Prom. You MAY NOT be picked up from POST-Prom by a parent/guardian/other person. If there is an emergency, you must speak with a POST-Prom chaperone who will help with any extenuating circumstance.
14 / Will the buses after Post-Prom drop us off at Palatine High School?
The buses after Post-Prom will only return to the Belvedere. Your cars may be left overnight. You may also need to arrange to be picked up if you do not leave your car or do not feel comfortable driving after the event.
15 / I am a parent/guardian and am interested in chaperoning Post-Prom. How can I help?
